11. Is there an award for successfully completing the Part 2 MDS examinations? Is this a Royal College examination?

Students from our MDS (Periodontology), MDS (Endodontics), MDS (Orthodontics) and MDS (Prosthodontics) programmes will be awarded the MDS degree from the National University of Singapore (NUS) as well as Membership from Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

Private candidates may register for the MOrth / MRD with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, usually in May.

Candidates can download relevant documentation (eg application forms, regulations, etc) from the RCS Ed examination database. The database can be found at – http://www.rcsed.ac.uk/exams
