Treatment Planning in Restorative Dentistry

Dr Winston Chee is a Diplomate of the american Board of Prosthodontics He is the Ralph W. Jean L. Bleak Professor of Restorative Dentistry. At present he serves as the Director of Implant Dentistryand co-directs the Advanced Prosthodontic Programme at the University of Southern California, School of Dentistry, where he has been a full time faculty member since 1986. He has published over 70 articles in peer reviewed journals on the subjects of Dental Materials and Implant Dentistry, a book on treatment planning Implant Supported Restorations and lectured internationally on those subjects. He maintains a private practice limited to Prosthodontics in Glendale, California.

He is a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists, Fellow of the American College of Dentists and a member of the American Academy of Restorative Dentistry.

With the multitute of materials and techniquesavailable to clinicians, choices of what materials to use in order to restore a patient to function and esthetics can be daunting.

A systematic approach to treatment planning will be presented together with evidence based approach to treatment.

Cases will be presented and participation from the audience will be encouraged. Outcomes of treatment in a few cases will be shown after initial discussion.
