3. National Centre for Scientific Research, Institute of Medical Imaging, Grenoble, France
The development of a 3D virtual orthognathic surgical simulator

This collaboration is part of a inter-disciplinary collaboration with the Faculty of Engineering, NUS in the development of 3D Vision applications for orthodontics and assessment of craniofacial anomalies.

4. University of Helsinki, Finland
Cleft Palate Centre on the 3D quantitative assessment of early palatal shape change in complete unilateral cleft lip and palate infants.
(PI: A/P K Foong)

5. University of Washington
The computer-aided diagnostic system NUS TMDv1.1 (developed by Drs Adrian Yap, Keson Tan* of the Faculty of Dentistry, Joxan Jaffar, Roland Yap and Mr Jerry Hoe of the School of Computing) is the first computerized tool to adopt the RDC/TMD standard. This is an advanced system for TMD diagnosis and has been successfully integrated into both national TMD clinics in Singapore. A/P Adrian Yap and A/P Keson Tan are working with an international consortium for research in TMD. The main centre is at University of Washington, with collaboration from other centers in the US, Canada, Germany, Sweden, Finland, Israel and Australia.
Note: A/Prof Keson Tan was
appointed to the Steering Committee of the consortium.

Multi-centred evaluation of a posterior composite, Shofu-universal composite and Fluorobond. (PI: Prof Chew CL)

Clinical trial: "Monitoring and comparison of a new resin composite restorative in the restoration of posterior teeth" (PI: A/P J Neo).

2. Aichi Steel Co (Japan)
Clinical trial: "To evaluate iron-neodymium-boron magnetic attachments to retain overdentures in partial and complete dentures and implant supported
overdentures especially for the elderly and mentally disabled".
