Faculty Development Fund

1. For Staff and Students’ Research
   
   
2. For Education Programmes eg funding courses organized for staff’s improvement and  development, organization of conferences and staff’s attendance of conference
   
   
3. For Development of the Faculty eg minor renovations, purchase of equipment and furniture not provided for by the University.
   
   
4. Support of Students’ Activities
   
   
5. Non- academic Staff Performance Award

     
Preventive Dentistry Donation Account       

1. For staff training, research, teaching and other academia related activities for which funding could not be obtained from available sources in the Faculty of Dentistry or NUS.
   
   
2. Allocation of funds is based on availability of funds, strategic importance of the request to the department and staff’s contribution to department activities.  Staff member who has assisted in the contributions of funds to the department will have priority in the usage.
   
   
3. Depending on the nature of the use of  fund, staff may be required to submit a report or give a presentation at the conclusion of the venture.

                 
Restorative Dentistry Donation Fund

1. For purchase of small items of equipment and consumables for research
   
   
2. To fund training of staff and students
   
   
3. To fund travel for research or educational purpose

OMS Donation Fund

1. To meet the expenditures of dept organised activities eg meetings, seminars etc
   
   
2. To fund training of staff and students
   
   
3. To fund travel for research, academic or educational purpose

Student Development Account

To fund the non-curricular activities of undergraduate students eg Freshmen Orientation, Dinner & Dance.
