Oral Medicine

A course of lectures in oral medicine will be given during the third year. Clinics in oral diagnosis and treatment planning will be held during the fourth year. Syllabus: Oral diagnosis and treatment planning; disorders of keratinisation and white lesions of the oral mucosa; oral ulcerations; disorders of pigmentation and pigmented lesions; vesicular and bullous lesions; oral manifestation of systemic disease; facial neuralgia; focal sepsis.

Examination: Questions on oral medicine will be included in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery paper.
