Pathology

The course extends over three terms of the second year. Syllabus: (1) The principles of pathology - degeneration and necrosis, circulatory disorders, inflammation and repair, disturbances of metabolism nutrition, disorders of growth and neoplasia. (2) Elementary systemic pathology with reference to the cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive, lympho-haemopoietic and osseous systems.

Examination: There will be a combined examination in Microbiology and Pathology comprising a three-hour paper, a practical examination and such oral examination as the examiners shall determine.
