Surgery

The course consists of lectures and practical demonstrations will extend over two terms of the third year. Syllabus: Lectures and clinical demonstrations will be given on fundamental surgical conditions including trauma; surgical conditions of the head and neck, particularly of the oral cavity; surgical conditions of the chest which are of relevance to dental practice, and elementary orthopaedic and otolaryngologic conditions.

Examination: The examination will comprise one three-hour paper, a clinical examination, and an oral examination.
