Course Synopsis
As each day
passes, an unprecedented and ever-increasing number of people
are reaching their senior years. Never before have so many older
adults made it to 75, 85, even 95. In character they are also
breaking new ground. More educated, health conscious, and financially
secure than previous generations, they represent some of dentistry’s
most sophisticated purchasers of our services and treatments.
Riding the
Age Wave offers a fresh perspective on our “new senior population”
and what motivates them to seek dental care and accept proposed
treatment plans. Learn proven marketing techniques to attract
more senior patients into your practice and keep them there.
Age-prevalent increases in root caries, tooth fractures, tooth
loss, and salivary gland dysfunction are discussed, and real-life
clinical scenarios are presented to demonstrate specific aspects
of patient care and develop strategies for effective treatment.
