| Faculty Welcomes Dental Alumni to Centennial Homecoming Luncheon (16.7.2005) | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
The event was well attended by staff and alumni alike. Dean A/P Keson Tan and academic staff, Kelvin Foong, Stephen Hsu, S B Keng, Varawan Sae Lim, Neo Tee Khin, and Lim Lum Peng welcomed our guest alumni from the 50’s to the 90’s. Past teachers who came included Lim Swee Teck, Lee Swee Khiang, Ng Ler Poey, and David Tay. Other alumni who attended included, Trevor Li, Chan Jong, Dominic Leung, Wu Loo Cheng, Basanti, Carolyn Goh, Wilson Goh, Peh Gek Chuan, Louis Tay, Serene Chee, Tan Kim Poon and others. One illustrious stalwart alumni member Tan Peng Guan came all the way from UK. The occasion marked the need to engage alumni if NUS and our dental faculty are to see itself relevant to past graduates. The luncheon ended at 2.00 pm with past NUS SEP (Student Exchange Program) recipients sharing their overseas experience together with the award of new grants to new SEP students.
