This is the first clinical symposium
organized with contribution from a Visiting Specialist and Chinese Professor
and will serve to promote our ties with the premier institutions of learning
in China. The symposium will aim to address broadly the scope of oral
and maxillofacial reconstruction highlighting the expertise of our visiting
specialist and the local faculty.

Professor Zhang is one of the top micro-vascular
surgeon in China and the Affiliated Ninth People's Hospital is the leading
institution in Oral and Maxillofacial / Head and Neck Surgery. His unit
had treated 10,000 cases of head and neck reconstruction and he had referred
on many journals and written textbooks on the subject.
