PROJECTS IN THE UNDERGRADUATE
RESEARCH OPPORTUNITITES PROGRAMME
(ACADEMIC YEAR 2000-2001)
Every undergraduate student has to undertake a supervised research-based project at the Faculty.
Known
as the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Programme (UROP), students
make presentations annually at the Faculty Research Day, and sometimes
at regional student conferences. Students have consistently won prizes
at these meetings and some of their work has been published in international
refereed journals
