Establish IT and ET as enablers to enhance the teaching of Dentistry

To execute the strategic plan of the Information

and Education Technology plan of the Dentistry IT/ET Committee.

Implement and support the Clinical Information System (CIS)

Provide maintenance of the Undergraduate, Postgraduate Students and Feedback systems

Support courseware development e.g. IVLE and CDROMs

Maintain the Dentistry and Graduate School websites

Maintenance of specialised computer-linked dental equipment e.g. DentSim, Intra-Oral cameras

Ensure that the security of computer equipment and contents are not compromised

Provide training for staff in the use of IT

Convert existing teaching material into multimedia format

Provide audio visual equipment and support to staff

Provide support for other computer hardware and software in the Faculty
