FOREWORD

 

On behalf of the Total Workplace Safety and Health (TWSH) Committee, I would like to extend a warm welcome to all members of the Faculty. The TWSH committee is dedicated to support the safety, health and wellbeing of all students, staff and visitors at the Faculty. It is backed by the strong commitment and support of the Faculty’s senior management.

The TWSH Committee is committed to achieve and maintain high safety standards and establish a conducive workplace which fosters health and wellness. To facilitate this, the Committee places utmost importance in benchmarking our practices with international standards while ensuring alignment and compliance with prevailing NUS and government safety, health and wellness policies. In addition, the Faculty maintains a robust safety management system and incorporates safety practices in all its activities. Our staff and students are encouraged to champion safety, health and wellness. I would like to encourage you to join us in our endeavours to build a safer Faculty for everyone. Do keep a lookout for a range of different programmes and activities which the TWSH Committee will be rolling out throughout the year.
