The Faculty of Dentistry, National University of Singapore (NUS) is a member of the National University Health System (NUHS). The latter is an integrated Academic Regional Health System in a vibrant and unique environment with advanced infrastructure for basic, translational and clinical research to deliver value-driven, innovative and sustainable oral healthcare in Singapore. Our faculty staff includes clinicians and scientists actively working together to improve clinical care through research. We have a range of platforms for individuals keen in research training, and offer Masters by research and opportunities to undertake a PhD degree.

Our main research areas are tissue engineering, microbiology and biomaterials. In addition, our translational research interests have extended into regenerative medicine and the ageing population. We offer opportunities to undertake bench, clinical or population level research and have dedicated facilities and staff to support your research training.
