This course aims to improve the understanding of pain in the orofacial region\, allowing oral healthcare professionals to better manage these patients’ concerns. This will improve the quality of care for the population. \nManaging orofacial pain is often difficult due to the limited understanding of the subject. Simultaneously\, the developments in associated fields during the last 20 to 30 years are isolated and not well-researched\, making it a confusing topic. \nWith the current understanding of orofacial pain\, a comprehensive presentation will equip course participants with the working knowledge of the basic and clinical science of general and orofacial pain. This allows participants to develop competency in performing a thorough assessment of patients\, including history taking and physical examination\, recognising the related co-morbidities and formulating a management plan. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n    \n        Back
