SUMMARY:Digital Endodontics Relevant for Current Clinical Practice?
DESCRIPTION:Date:\n14th May 2025\, 7-8pm (light refreshments available from 6:30pm) \n\n\nVenue:\nNational University Centre for Oral Health Singapore\, Auditorium L9 \n\n\nEvent Type:\nLecture/Sharing Session \n\n\nTarget Audience:\nDental Students \n\n\nTrainer / Instructor:\nDR. OVE A. PETERS\, DMD MS PHD \n\n\nFlyer:\nView PDF \n\n\nOrganised by:\nSOCIETY OF ENDODONTISTS SINGAPORE & NUS National University of Singapore \n\n\n\n\nProgramme Details:\nDigital technologies are increasingly shaping modern endodontic practice\, offering enhanced diagnostic capabilities\, procedural precision\, and new opportunities for clinical efficiency. While tactile skill remains foundational\, advancements such as cone beam computed tomography (CBСT) have redefined diagnostic imaging with regards to periapical pathosis and complex canal anatomies. Dental Magnetic resonance tomography (dMRI) has the potential for a relevant next step in diagnostics. Other emerging tools include Al-driven decision-making enhancement\, 3D printed guides for minimally invasive access\, and dynamic navigation systems that integrate CBCT data into real-time visualisation during procedures. These innovations-though currently not fully implemented even specialist settings-signal a shift toward more predictable and streamlined treatment planning and treatment. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n Back

SUMMARY:Comprehensive view advances in Periodontology from Pathogenesis to Regenerative Therapy
DESCRIPTION:Date:\n13 June 2025\n9:30am – 11:30pm \n\n\nVenue:\nSEMINAR ROOM S10-5\, LVL 10\, NUCOHS \n\n\nEvent Type:\nLecture \n\n\nTarget Audience:\nGeneral Dental Practitioners \n\n\nTrainer / Instructor:\nProf. Shinya Murakami\, DDS \n\n\nCPE Points:\n2 \n\n\nFlyer:\nView PDF \n\n\n\n\nProgramme Details:\nThis lecture provides an overview of the molecular and microbial pathogenesis of periodontitis\, emphasizing the roles of dental biofilm and host-related risk factors such as smoking and diabetes. It explores current treatment approaches\, including mechanical and adjunctive chemical plaque control\, and highlights the limitations of conventional therapies in achieving true tissue regeneration. \nThe session will also present recent advancements in biologically based regenerative therapies—particularly the use of FGF-2 to stimulate endogenous stem cells for the regeneration of periodontal structures—now clinically applied in Japan. \n\n\n\n\n\n \n Back\n \n \nRegister Now
