In recent years\, vital pulp therapy in mature teeth has been re-examined with renewed interest and is gaining traction. It is\, therefore\, meaningful to review and consider this potentially conservative approach as part of our daily practice. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n Back\n \n \nRegister Now

SUMMARY:How Deep Is Your Love: What Is An Appropriate Depth Of Implant Placement?
DESCRIPTION:  \n  \n  \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n\n\nDate:\n27 August 2025 \n\n\nVenue:\nNUS Dentistry Auditorium \n\n\nEvent Type:\nLecture/Sharing Session \n\n\nTarget Audience:\nDental Graduates \n\n\nTrainer / Instructor:\nDr Ong Ding Sen\nDr Chow Dian Yi \n\n\nFlyer:\nView PDF \n\n\nOrganised by:\nNational University Centre for Oral Health Singapore \n\n\n\n\nProgramme Details:\nAt first\, this may seem like a simple question — surely\, we just follow the bone level\, right? But in reality\, this approach doesn’t always lead to the best outcome. When dealing with uneven ridge heights or aesthetic zones\, placement depth becomes a more nuanced decision. \nIf the implant is placed too shallow\, and there may not be enough room to shape a natural-looking restoration. If it is placed too deep\, there might be risk of complications such as peri-implantitis or bone loss. This lecture distils the concept down to one guiding principle: The appropriate implant depth should support an ideal mucosal emergence. \n\n\n\n\n\n \n Back\n \n \nRegister Now
