The Total Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) objectives at the National University of Singapore (NUS) include minimizing risks, preventing accidents, maintaining a safe environment, addressing occupational health risks, supporting wellness initiatives, adhering to national WSH regulations, fostering a culture of care, and continuously improving practices to meet new challenges.\u2028<\/strong>\u2028<\/p>

To build a safety culture, the Faculty empowers staff and students to actively participate in shaping their study and work environments by contributing ideas and suggestions through initiatives like the Safety Poster Competition. Safe practices are further promoted through Cross-inspection Competitions, while regular “Gemba Walks,” introduced in 2021, enable the safety team and management to inspect practices on the ground and identify areas for improvement. These efforts aim to gradually inculcate a culture of safety, making it a top priority for all staff and students.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
