The 2-day Annual Symposium held at the Pan Pacific Hotel this year saw a total of more than 220 registrants. It featured 2 overseas and 2 local speakers, which included Professor Brian L Mealey from USA , Dr Andreas Kurbad from Germany and both Professor Chia Kee Seng and Dr Wong Mun Loke are from Singapore. The theme for this year’s Symposium was “The Mouth and Beyond ,,,,“.
The timely presentations touched on broadening the perspectives of dentistry beyond the mouth and this involved oral-systemic connections and the significance of chronic medical diseases in dental practice and presenting challenges and opportunities in the workplace and the esthetic harmony of the body, face and teeth which impact anterior restorations.
A significant number of the trade industry also participated generously and contributed to the successful event.
