“The generous donations have given many, including myself, the opportunity to further our growth as oral healthcare practitioners. I hope that subsequent generations will retain this spirit of giving and continue to support others in their professional development,” shared Dr Ishreen Kaur Dhillon, recipient of the Academic Year 2021/22 Rashid Tahir The Kids Dentist Medal and Prize, and Academic Talent Development Programme.
“I would like to use this opportunity to express my utmost gratitude for our donors’ great help in fulfilling my aspirations to pursue my studies at the dental school. With the high levels of academic rigour and workload, your generous donation helps in taking the heavy weight of the financial burden from dental school off my shoulders, allowing me to focus my energy on doing the best I can in school and providing the highest level of care for my patients. Once again, thank you so much for your contributions,” said Leow Jun Hann Zane, recipient of the Academic Year 2021/22 Lim Kheng Ann Dentistry Bursary.
Dr Nicholas Lim, recipient of Academic Year 2020/21 Prosthodontic Society Singapore Medal expressed his gratitude to the donors.
“The bursary has helped me tremendously by financing my education. I deeply appreciate the Faculty’s donors for their support. As I step into my final year, I am grateful for all the help that has been given to me. I am working towards becoming a competent clinician and, hopefully, a dentist soon. Thank you once again for your very important financial assistance,” added Vicky Qu Qianqian, recipient of Academic Year 2021/22 Bachelor of Dental Surgery Class of 81 30th Anniversary Bursary.
