11th NUS-SDA Distinguished Speaker Programme - 16 August 2015

In light of the rapidly ageing population and its related oral health issues, the theme for this year's programme centred around "The Geriatric Patient in Dental Practice".  Professor Angus Walls, Director of the Postgraduate Dental Institute, University of Edinburgh and an expert in the field of geriatric oral health shared valuable insights about oral health issues the elderly are likely to face.  This was followed by a discussion about the key considerations in managing geriatric oral health needs in the clinical setting.  About 120 colleagues from the dental fraternity attended this full-day programme.
