Postgraduate Studies Open House 13 October 2018

The inaugural FOD postgraduate recruitment drive was held on 13 October 2018 to showcase our MDS, PhD and MSc programmes. Prof Mandeep Duggal, Professor of Paediatric Dentistry, gave an introduction to the PhD, MSc and MDS in clinical, population and translational/basic research. Dr Jacob Chew, final year Periodontics Resident, shared his experience on research, presentations at conferences such as the International Association for Dental Research (IADR) Conference and his life as a Resident in the Faculty. Programme Directors and other residents from various disciplines also engaged the participants in roundtable discussions, where the participants clarified their doubts and gained insights to the programmes. Attended by more than 40 participants, the event wrapped up with a tour of the training facilities at the newly completed National University Centre for Oral Health, Singapore (NUCOHS).
