Appointment to the Scientific Advisory Board, Journal of Endodontics

The Scientific Advisory Board of the Journal of Endodontics (JOE) has appointed  Associate Professor Vinicius Rosa as its member in July 2019. 

JOE is the official journal of the American Association of Endodontists and publishes scientific articles on the latest advances in pulp conservation and endodontic treatment. JOE is ranked 13th out of 91 journals in the Dentistry, Oral Surgery & Medicine category on the 2018 Journal Citation Reports, making it one of the essential publications for dental specialists.

In the field of regenerative endodontics, A/P Rosa has shown that stem cells from baby teeth have the potential to regenerate the pulp of full length root canals and was the first to produce lab functional odontoblasts for testing materials and medicines. A/P Rosa also developed bioactive cements and continues to assess the potential of novel operatory strategies for root canal treatments. His work has been published in prestigious journals such as the JOE, Journal of Dental Research and Dental Materials.
