1. What are the entry requirements for the Graduate Diploma Dental Implantology course?

2. How often and on what days will I be required to be present for the Graduate Diploma Dental Implantology course?
Candidates have to be at the Faculty at least one day a week, spread over two half days.
3. How many international students do you accept each year?
At the moment, the centre is unable to accept international students for the Graduate Diploma Dental Implantology Course.
4. Will patients be made available to participants for the Graduate Diploma Dental Implantology Programme?
No, participants have to provide their own patients, which are treated at the Faculty.
5. What is the annual intake?
The annual admission is 2 to 7.

7. Is the Graduate Diploma Dental Implantology registrable with Singapore Dental Council ?
The Graduate Diploma Dental Implantology is registrable as an “additional qualification” by the Singapore Dental Council. It is not a specialist examination.
8. Will students be able to apply for any form of fee assistance schemes?
No.

10. If I have a research degree in dentistry (M.Sc.Dent; MSc), will I be exempted from the research component of the MDS programme?
There will be no exemption from the research component of the MDS programme.
11. Is there an award for successfully completing the Part 2 MDS examinations? Is this a Royal College examination?
Students from our MDS (Periodontology), MDS (Endodontics), MDS (Orthodontics) and MDS (Prosthodontics) programmes will be awarded the MDS degree from the National University of Singapore (NUS) as well as Membership from Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
Private candidates may register for the MOrth / MRD with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, usually in May.
