Faculty of Dentistry’s Dr Intekhab Islam received the Annual Teaching Excellence Award presented by the Centre for Development of Teaching and Learning NUS at a ceremony on 15 May 2017. The award recognises faculty members who “express a commitment to an institutional value system that sends signals about what it regards as high quality teaching”. Dr Intek has been awarded multiple teaching awards at the faculty level, and this latest recognition at the University level is truly well-deserved.
