Population Oral Health and Services Research Unit

The Population Oral Health and Services Research Unit (POHSRU) champions and engages in multidisciplinary research that spans the biopsychosocial dimensions of oral health. Through its work, POHSRU enhances the understanding of the determinants, behaviours, attitudes and practices which influence the oral health of the population.

POHSRU endeavours to influence and shape policies; develop clinical practice guidelines as well as plan services and programmes supported by evidence gathered across multiple domains, settings and the lifespan (Figure 1).
