The Faculty of Dentistry (FOD) and National University Hospital (NUH) University Dental Cluster (UDC) conducted a free oral health screening on 24 January 2018, at the National University of Singapore (NUS) Central Library Foyer. This was an inaugural community outreach initiative targeted to raise oral health awareness amongst NUS staff and students. Held from 10am to 5pm, the oral health screening comprised a dental examination, followed by oral health counselling on the participants’ treatment needs. An extensive exhibition on oral health education and the development of the upcoming National University Centre for Oral Health, Singapore (NUCOHS) was also held on-site. The community event was attended by close to 100 participants.
