Dr Lo Geok Lam, who joined the Faculty of Dentistry in 1980 and retired in 2002 after 22 years of dedicated service, moved to the United States to join her son.

During her visit back to Singapore last November 2024, she took the opportunity to reconnect with her former students and colleagues, rekindling fond memories of her time at the faculty. Some staff members guided her on a tour of the facilities, and she was delighted to meet several ex-students and colleagues who were thrilled to catch up with her. The memorable visit concluded with a private lunch hosted by a close group.
