Your oral health is our priority. As part of the Faculty of Dentistry at the National University of Singapore, we provide quality dental care for people aged 4 and above in a supportive and professional environment. Our clinic offers a range of treatments within our undergraduate curriculum, including scaling and polishing, gum treatment, fillings, dentures, crowns, root canal treatment, extractions, and screening for braces.

Dental Screening
An assigned student with a teacher will obtain your consent (if below 18 years old, your parent’s consent) to take your medical history, perform dental examination and assess your suitability for the Undergraduate Dental Treatment Programme.
Things to bring:
- NRIC, Permanent Resident or Non-Resident Identity Card
- Referral letter from dental polyclinic (preferred)
- Relevant medical records (if any)


Treatment Planning
Between the first and third visit, the student will:
- present a diagnosis and discuss treatment options with you
- propose a treatment plan
- inform you on the estimated treatment cost involved
You may accept or decline the recommended treatment plan at this time. All assigned student’s procedures are supervised by licensed dental surgeons, with treatment duration ranging 6 to 24 months.
Please note if the recommended treatment is beyond the undergraduate students’ learning scope, you may be referred to postgraduate (PG) students at NUCOHS with prevailing PG treatment fees.
Discharge
Upon completion of the treatment planned, you will be discharged from the Undergraduate Dental Treatment Program. If you have any other dental needs, please register again to be on the waiting list and we will assign another student to you.


Payment
We operate on a cashless payment system and our treatment fees are at subsidised rates (for teaching). Additional government subsidies through Community Health Assist Scheme (CHAS), Pioneer Generation, and Merdeka Generation are not applicable. Please enquire during the treatment planning phase before proceeding.
