Biostatistics Unit

Overview

The Biostatistics Unit at the Faculty of Dentistry offers comprehensive statistical services which span the full spectrum of research study design and data analysis. Our aim is to elevate the quality of research by ensuring that studies are methodologically robust and data analyses are insightful, thereby contributing to the advancement of the field of dental, oral, and craniofacial research.

Meet The Team

Mr Clement LAI

Mr Clement LAI

Clement holds a BBA in Statistics from the National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan and a Master’s degree in Statistics from Lancaster University, United Kingdom. He has experience in programming skills in R and Python, including data processing and visualisation as well as statistical analysis.

Ms Yu Fan SIM

Yu Fan has more than 10 years
of experience in the academic
and healthcare industry in Singapore. She received her BSc (Hons) in Biostatistics and MSc
in Statistics from the National University of Singapore.
