The Faculty recently hosted a Donor Appreciation Dinner to honour the generosity and partnership of our generous donors. The evening began with lively networking as guests reconnected with familiar faces and met new members of our community.

Dean Professor Chris Peck welcomed our donors with an overview of the Faculty’s vision and mission, emphasising that the progress we have made — and the opportunities we continue to create — would not be possible without the steadfast support of our donors.

Guests then enjoyed a buffet dinner featuring a delectable spread. As guests enjoyed the dinner spread, Professor Peter Svensson delivered a short briefing on value-driven care at the Faculty, highlighting our commitment to delivering high-impact clinical education and service.

This was followed by a heartfelt appreciation message from students Mr Hiraide Wong Kenji and Ms Shannon Tho, who shared how donor contributions have directly shaped their learning journeys and opened doors for their personal and professional growth.

Associate Professor Gao Xiaoli also presented insights on oral craniofacial health surveillance and promotion within the Faculty, spotlighting how donor support empowers research and innovation in these critical areas.

The evening drew to a warm close with a final sharing by Dr Seet Ren Hao, who reflected on the meaningful ways donor generosity has influenced his development as a young clinician.

The dinner served as a reminder of the powerful impact made possible when donors and the Faculty come together — a partnership that continues to transform student experiences, advance research, and strengthen the future of oral healthcare.
